UK High Commissioner to Ghana at Wembley Stadium

The UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Mr Matthew Johnson is encourage about Ghana’s chances of beating England in Tuesday’s historic clash at the Wembley Stadium in London.

He asked Joy FM’s Super Morning Show host Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah that he was “very excited” by the international friendly encounter, which he said has been “long awaited”.

“Genuinely, I think Ghana is going to come up on top,” Mr Johnson stressed diplomatic pronouncements refused to make any impact.

Stephen Appiah as a special guest at Wembley Stadium

Now Ghana is a former captain, Stephen Appiah as a special guest for Tuesday's historic friendly against England in Wembley stadium.

Wembley Stadium Highlight over Mark Cooper

Darlington boss Mark Cooper is supporters will turn out in numbers for the FA Trophy final against Mansfield in May.

New Zealand Wants Charity Match With Britain's Olympic Team at Wembley


Preparations for next year's Olympics in London is being started by Britian team as they are confronting against New Zealand at Wembley Stadium in a special fundraising event for the victims of the Christchurch earthquake.

Approval has been already received by David from world governing body FIFA for a "Football for Hope" to support the people affected by the earthquake in Christchurch last month, which killed 166 people with more than 30 still missing.

"FIFA have approved the concept of a 'Football for Hope' match," Chung told the Sunday News in New Zealand.

"Despite the wish to do it quickly in a rush to confirm something, it's going to take a bit of time.

"One thing we've floated is if Great Britain could put an Olympic side out in preparation for the 2012 Games.

"If New Zealand played at Wembley, being conservative, even if you only sold 40,000 tickets [roughly half capacity] at £30 ($66), that's £1.2 million ($2.6 million)."

Foo Fighters kicked off Wembley Stadium

According to the NME Awards Big Gig that Foo Fighters perform their first large concert on 25 February 2011.
